Dear Bulldog Family,
I could not be any more excited or proud to be the principal of Umatilla High School. Being that it is my first year at Umatilla High School I would feel remised if I did not give you all a little information about myself. I was born and raised in Central Florida and graduated from the University of Florida with a bachelors in History and a minor in Secondary Education. I later received my masters in Educational Leadership from the University of Scranton. This will be my fourteenth year in education where I have served as a teacher, district curriculum specialist, high school assistant principal, elementary principal and high school principal. I am blessed to be married with two children.
I have been overwhelmed by the pride, tradition and community support for this school. That is an aspect that we will dedicate ourselves to maintaining for many years to come. We will also focus our daily energy on providing an academically rich environment that supports both college and career readiness while also supporting the social and emotional development of our students.
Umatilla High School is an outstanding academic institution and I will do everything with in my power to continue its great traditions and advance us academically into the future.
We will always “Be the Best U.”
