NHS
The National Honor Society (NHS) is the nation's premier organization established to recognize outstanding high school students. More than just an honor roll, NHS serves to honor those students who have demonstrated excellence in the areas of scholarship, leadership, service, and character. Students are eligible to apply for NHS membership if they demonstrate academic achievement by achieving and maintaining a GPA of 3.5 or higher. Other criteria for membership include participation and leadership in extracurricular and community activities and a commitment to community service.
