Assistant Principal-Tes Rogers

Tes Rogers

I am so excited to have another new year in Umatilla!   I feel so blessed to have the opportunity work at Umatilla High School!

As you probably know by now, I am a product of the Lake County School System. I grew up in Lake County and attended Elementary, Middle and High School right here in Umatilla. I received my Bachelor of Science degree in Elementary Education and Master’s Degree in Educational Leadership from the University of Central Florida. I started my educational career at Leesburg High School in 1990, the same year my daughter was born. I have been married to Gary Rogers for 33 years. We have a daughter who attended Lake County Schools and we are very excited to have grandchildren, the next generation of Lake County kids. I have taught and been an administrator at many of our Lake County Schools. I tell you this, because family is very important to me. Each school in Lake County is a family and I am very excited to be part of yours. Thank you for giving me the opportunity to return home, to UHS!

As we move through the year, we must remember that we are a family, team and unit working for the good of our children. We share the responsibility of educating our students to help them reach their full potential. If there is anything I can do to assist you or your child, please do not hesitate to contact me.  When you are at the school, please stop by and say hello. I look forward to meeting our entire Umatilla High School Family! I love the first day of school! I love the look on their face as they enter campus to begin a challenging new year. This year is off to a great start and I am READY!
