UHS is officially back, and the energy today was an absolute 10/10! Mr. Stokes was on absolute demon mode in the courtyard, dropping a certified banger playlist that had the entire campus hyped before first period even started.

If you hear loud noises and see lots of police officers and deputies at LifePointe Church and Umatilla Middle School this week, don’t be alarmed! The Lake County Sheriff’s Office is conducting active assailant training for all School Resource Deputies and Officers. The sessions will be held on Thursday, August 6, at LifePointe Church, 3551 E Orange Ave. in Eustis, and on Friday, August 7, at Umatilla Middle School, 305 E Lake Street in Umatilla. The interactive training will include simulated gunfire and student actors to create real-life scenarios. Thank you to all involved for everything you do to keep our Lake County Schools campuses safe!

Honoring a Legacy: The Ben Nash Memorial Scholarship
In loving memory of Ben Nash, a scholarship fund has been established to honor his life, spirit, and impact on our community for years to come.
